…There is mountain and mountain… Because there are mountains that seem city and there is Lemon, a typical alpine country surrounded by beautiful mountains, vivacious, amusing, full of animation and beautiful people. Already because… There is people and people… We like the people that intends and it comes from the whole Piedmont, the Liguria, the Blue Coast or from more distant. But the true ace in the sleeve of this spacious valley is represented by the connections. The railroad Cuneo-Limone-Nice allows privileges that rare stations can offer. From the airports in Turin, Genoa and Nice, connected to the highway A4 Torino-Savona, Cuneo can be reached in two hours. From here the S.S. Hill of Curtain always perfectly agibile, that brings to Lemon in 20 Kms. the historical center on which they detach an ancient and important Church and a series of Palazzotti Patrizi. Along “street Roma” they are leaned out jewelries, shops of antiquariato, galleries of art, shops of sporting attire and not, confectioneries, gastronomies, numerous restaurants discos, cinema, pharmacy, banks, postal office.
Limone Piemonte preserves his culture and his characteristic soul of alpine country. It is true nature, as they show the four naturalistic parks that surround it: the national park of the Mercantour, the park of the Valley Pesio, the natural park of the Alps Marittime and the natural Reserve of the wood and lakes of Palanfré. Limon Piemonte entertains the Naturalistic Companions that organize for the whole season summer excursions driven in territory rich in fauna and flora. The proposals of the companions space, over the zone of Lemon Piedmont, on the whole territory of the Province of Wedge.
In the national Park of the Mercantour you/they can be found together an of rocky incisions among the richest of Europe. In over the Bego mountain it preserves over 3.000 incisions dated to the age of the bronze (years 1500 and 1800 a.Cs.). The National park of the Mercantour is one among the seven French national parks and is extended for over 120 kms. Leftovers of Roman ciottolato are met along the walk by Limonetto Limone, realized from the Savoias, where, above the fall, a path conducts to the Alpe Pope Giovanni, small spiritual oasis.

…It is a suggestive mountain place of the western Alps to 1000 mt. of altitude, of ancient cultural traditions, tourist and of winter sport. Few know in fact, that the first competitions of ski were organized and dispute in 1907 really to Lemon and Bardonecchia, already from the first ones of eight hundred. Lemon was known for its strategic position to the feet of the Hill of Curtain, pass of exchanges and commerces and for the beauty and the suggestion of its landscape. With the opening in the 1882 of the road tunnel and, in the 1891 of the Railroad, they increased the presences and the stay of the first tourists, and it began of there to few, the exploitation in tourist terms of the winter season that it took off, decidedly, with the first fittings of gone up again in 1936.
